USA, TX: Talyard Brewing Co. breaks ground on new production and taproom facility in Sugar Land
Talyard Brewing Co. has broken ground on a 15,000-square-foot production and taproom facility in Sugar Lands Imperial neighborhood, the Community Impact Newspaper reported on November 9.
The brewery broke ground Nov. 7 on a 3.5-acre site at 1033 Imperial Blvd., Sugar Land, with an opening projected for early 2024, according to a Nov. 7 announcement.
Once open, the brewery will feature a 20-barrel brewhouse with an annual production capacity of 10,000 barrels, according to the announcement. The facility will have floor space reserved for foeders, a type of large oak beer barrels, and an eventual barrel-aging program. Guests will be able to sample the brews at a family- and pet-friendly beer garden that comprises over an acre of shaded seating, pickleball courts, a playground, backyard games and a stage for live entertainment, according to the announcement.
We want to push the boundaries of style and tradition by combining old practices and new, owning principal Keith Teague said.
