USA, WY: Bull Horn Brewing LLC applies for new microbrewery liquor license
The City of Casper has received an application from Bull Horn Brewing LLC for a new microbrewery liquor license, the Oil City News reported on April 20.
Bull Horn is seeking the license to operate at 2027 E. Yellowstone Highway Unit B. If the City Council approves the request, Bull Horn would add to what is a growing brewery district in the area. In March, the council approved a new microbrewery license for Stahoos Brewery and Taproom at 1015 East C St.; Skull Tree Brewing and Mountain Hops Brewhouse also are located in the neighborhood.
On Tuesday, the City Council will look to establish May 3 as the public hearing date for Bull Horns request. City staff explain in a memo that Bull Horn would be located inside the same building as OReilly Auto Parts.
This building was split in half, and the brewery will occupy the back portion of the building while OReilly Auto Parts will occupy the front portion, the memo states.
Bull Horn plans to open in June, according to city staff.
Casper currently has seven microbrewery licenses issued. A cap on the number of microbrewery licenses a municipality can issue was repealed in 2021, city staff explain, so there is no limit to the number that can be issued in Casper.
