World: Ukraine is the largest barley exporter this year

USDA lowered their projection of Australian barley exports this year by .3 MMT to 2.0 MMT, down sharply from 5.2 MMT a year ago. They also raised their projection of Ukrainian barley exports by .3 MMT to 4.3 MMT this year. Ukraine is projected to be largest barley exporter this year.

USDA reported net export sales of 3.3 TM, all for Canada. Barley exports of .2 TMT were reported for Mexico.

The Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) announced the second SBS feed barley import tender would be held on April 4 for 307,000 MT of feed barley.
