Brewing news USA, NY: Maltas Unified Beerworks to close its doors for good at the end of December

A Malta brewery will close its doors for the final time at the end of December. Unified Beerworks on Old Stonebreak Road announced its closure in a social media post on November 19.

The brewery’s last day of business is December 27, allowing the community and loyal patrons to unite one last time. The social media post thanked staff, customers, and colleagues for the memories.

“When you embark on any big adventure, you know at some point there will be an end,” the social media post read. “As 2025 comes to a close, our adventure with Unified Beerworks will reach its end.”

Owned by husband and wife duo Jeff Mannion and Erika Anderson, the brewery has been in the Malta community for seven years. Mannion creates craft beers that resemble New England-style IPAs and pale ales in addition to stouts, while Anderson creates fruity sours and unique saisons, according to the Unified Beerworks website.
