Castle Malting biedt u meer dan 50 hopvariëteiten aan in “Freshpak” vacuümverpakking van 5, 10 en 20 kg. Het gehele jaar voorzien wij een volledig palet van smaken om het juiste biertype te brouwen zoals u dat wenst.
Hop pellets type 90
De meest gevraagde hopvariëteiten zijn ook onder pelletvorm type 90 gestockeerd. Hoppellets type 90 worden als bitterhop toegevoegd bij begin koken of later om aroma te creëren. Dit pellet type dient gebruikt met een centrifuge (whirlpool) of een degelijk filtersysteem.
Tijdens de productie van pellets type 90 wordt de hop verbrijzeld tot poeder. Nadien wordt dit tot korrels geperst. Er worden geen additieven toegevoegd; De hopharsen en oliën dienen als bindmiddel en maken dat het gruis samenblijft.
Opm 1. Aangezien de alfazuren degenereren in functie van tijd, zijn er andere oxides welke bittersmaken produceren en aldus het tekort aan alfazuren compenseren, echter de essentiële oliën, welke nodig zijn voor het aroma, alsook de frisheid verminderen sterk.
Opm 2. Bovenstaande info wordt verstrekt als algemene richtlijn, hop verleent de verschillende smaken aan bier, in combinatie met de verschillende grondstoffen van het recept.
