Brewing news USA, IL: Sew Hop'd Brewery launching on April 26 in Huntley

A new brewery is opening on April 26 in Huntley, the Northwest Herald reported.

Sew Hop'd Brewery will produce and serve craft beer in its 2,700-square-foot spot at 1 Union Special Plaza. The space will include a taproom and an outdoor patio.

Owners have said they eventually plan to distribute beer to local restaurants.

The brewery will be family friendly and will not serve food, according to its Facebook page. However, food trucks will be scheduled throughout the business' opening weekend.

Beer will not be sold to go during the opening weekend.

Hours of operation for this weekend will be 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Huntley development services director Charles Nordman said the business was granted its certificate of occupancy on April 25.
