USA, MS: Redemption Rock Brewing Co. planning new brewery in Worcester
Redemption Rock Brewing Co. announced plans to open a new craft brewery, taproom, and cafe in Worcester, Mass., opening in late 2018 or early 2019. The brewery will be based at 333 Shrewsbury St., Brewbound reported on September 16.
Redemption Rock Brewing Co.’s mission is to bring a unique, community-focused, and high-quality craft beer experience to Worcester — helping to grow the city into a new craft beer destination.
Redemption Rock Brewing Co. will feature a 10-barrel brewery, a 3,000 sq. ft., 100-seat taproom, and a dedication to the local community. In addition to serving house-brewed craft beer, Redemption Rock Brewing will also offer locally roasted coffee, as well as baked goods and meat and cheese plates sourced from New England businesses.
“When we think about craft beer, we think community. And that is our driving value,” said Dani Babineau, CEO of Redemption Rock Brewing Co. “We want to foster our own community of craft beer enthusiasts, as well as serve and celebrate the local community in Worcester. Most importantly, we want to be an institution the city can be proud of — which is why quality is at the center of everything we do.”
Redemption Rock Brewing Co. will provide an eclectic array of craft beer, spanning both American and European styles. Its anticipated starting offerings will include a kolsch-style ale, American IPA, Irish dry stout, and hefeweizen.
“Craft beer is a fascinating blend of tradition and innovation, and our customers can expect us to explore every part of that spectrum,” said Greg Carlson, Head Brewer at Redemption Rock Brewing Co. “We’re building this brewery because we want to create an experience that celebrates everything we love about craft beer – the flavors, the variety, and the excitement of trying something new.”
