Barley news EU: Markets worried as several analysts reduce EU grain crop production numbers

There was a little bit of panic making its round on the EU malting barley markets as several analysts have reducing the EU grain crop production numbers, the latest one was Strategie Grains on June 29, GrainCom said in their latest report.

The GrainCom analysts have been reducing the malting barley crop size potential in Europe gradually over the recent weeks, and they continue to believe that the final number is shrinking and not growing from the numbers as of June 29.

Brewers seem to be well covered as there is no real demand showing up, or may be there only is demand behind the scenes? Market will handle the right S&D as always. The weather forecast is rather warm/hot and dry in Europe, with some thunder storms forecasted in France.
