Australia: Barley harvest about 90% completed

Australia’s barley harvest is about 90% completed, GrainCom said in their latest report.

Markets firmed a bit lately due to ongoing demand and the AUD/USD exchange rate, industry sources said.

Wheat harvest is done in Western Australia and the north eastern part of the country, but in South Australia and Victoria some work still needs to be done and the crops have certainly suffered from the rains over the last weeks.
